Stanley James Conti, “Big Stan,” 74, of Cranberry Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024.

Born Jan. 4, 1950, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late James Anthony and Mary Frances Babcock Conti. Named after Stan “The Man” Musial, he was an avid baseball and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He instilled his love of baseball and competition in his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carolyn Conti; his children, Raechel DeVinney (Brian), Jason Conti (Cari), Anthony Conti (Bekah) and Nick Conti; his brothers, Brian Conti (Kim), Marty Conti (Rosemary) and Erik Conti (Tabatha); his grandchildren, Max, Samantha, Liz, James and Cadence; and canine companion Enzo.

Stan loved photography, his favorite subjects were his kids, grandkids, and their participation in various sports and activities. He enjoyed music, listening to records and watching movies. Later in life, he adopted pickleball as a hobby, playing regularly, he became well-known in the local pickleball “scene.” When not at pickleball, you would find him in his hoodie detailing his cars, barbecue grill or the stovetop. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

CONTI — Friends of Stanley James Conti, who died Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, will be welcomed from noon to 2 p.m., with the service beginning at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 26, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

Stan will be laid to rest at Locust Grove Cemetery in Ellwood City.
