McCall-Kamerer

Doris K. “Dee” McCall-Kamerer, 67, of Chicora, passed away the evening of Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at her home after a battle with cancer.

Dee was born on Dec. 6, 1957, in Grove City, the daughter of the late Robert and Sis (Hoover) McCall.

Dee was a bartender at various places and worked alongside her husband at his floor-cleaning business. She had a green thumb and enjoyed plants and gardening. She loved to be outside and loved her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Howard L. Kamerer, whom she married on June 9, 2001; two sisters, Nancy (Robert) Cupec of Slippery Rock and Esther Russell of Franklin; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard.

MCCALL-KAMERER — A memorial visitation for Doris K. “Dee” McCall-Kamerer, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.

Cremation services were entrusted to the funeral home.
