John Brown

John Mack Brown, 67, of Renfrew, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital, just days after being diagnosed with cancer. He passed peacefully in the company of loved ones.

He was born June 14, 1957, in Butler, the son of the late Edward Brown and Nancy (Nulph) Reilly.

John owned and operated Brown’s Diesel Electric for many years. He was a well-known, loved and respected member of the Butler community. John had a passion for Mopar and racing.

Surviving are his son, Cory (Sloane) Brown of Renfrew; his partner, Betsy Spiece of Butler; his sister, Connie (Bill) Rodgers of Butler; his brother, Ed (Denise) Brown of Saxonburg; and his grandchildren, Teagan, Archer and Griffin Brown.

BROWN — His wish was to not have a funeral, therefore there will be a private service and burial for John Mack Brown, who died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024.

Arrangements have been entrusted to YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
