Trailing by three points at halftime, Knoch used a 25-14 run in the third quarter to take control and went on to post a 62-57 boys basketball victory over Bishop Guilfoyle Monday at Butler High School.

Jackson Bauman led the Knights with 18 points, Teegan Finucan and Brody Bauman chipped in with 14 and 11, respectively.

Nick Foor hit six treys for the Marauders, accounting for all of his 18 points.

Knoch improved to 8-3 on the season.

North Catholic 75, Hatboro-Horsham 34 — At the Boardwalk Classic tournament in Wildwood, N.J., the Trojans built a 39-13 lead in the first half and cruised to victory behind 18 points from Jude Rottmann.

Jason Fredericks added 13 points for North (6-4).

Nitro (W.Va.) 49, Mars 32 — The Planets were outscored 24-12 in the first half and were unable to rally in the final day of a tournament in Charleston, S.C.

Alexis Cashdollar scored 12 points to pace Mars (6-3), which had its four-game winning streak snapped.
