A crash involving three vehicles on Route 8 resulted in two injuries on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 24.

According to police, the crash occurred when Gary Gregg, 76, of Butler, ran a red light when turning onto Route 8 from Fairfield Lane.

Gregg’s vehicle crashed into Kenneth Harris, 48, of Volant, who was traveling southbound. The immediate crash hit a third vehicle, driven by Megan Torres, 41, of Butler.

Butler Township Fire District 3, Butler City Fire and Butler Ambulance Service assisted at the scene. All involved vehicles were towed.

Gregg and his passenger, Mary Gregg, 76, of Butler, sustained unknown injuries and were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital.
