Man charged with burglary after threatening to ruin Christmas
A Butler man is wanted by police after he allegedly threatened to ruin Christmas for his ex-girlfriend and her children, and then broke TVs and a PlayStation in her home.
Slippery Rock police charged Mark A. Dellen II, 35, with a felony count of burglary and misdemeanors criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and possession of an instrument of crime following the Dec. 23 incident. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Dellen’s ex-girlfriend told police Dellen called her while she was driving and said he was going to ruin Christmas for her and her children, according to an affidavit.
When she arrived home, she found her door was damaged and her dog was missing. Police arrived and found a broken security camera and a broken TV in the living room, a TV thrown into a closet and broken drywall in the woman’s bedroom and a broken TV, a smashed PlayStation and damaged drywall in the children’s room, according to the affidavit.
