Sasse

Shirley A. Sasse, 89, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at the Magnolia Place of Saxonburg.

Born May 28, 1935, in Marwood, she was the daughter of Melvin Logan and Stella Osche Logan.

Shirley had worked in the packhouse at Moonlight Mushrooms for 30 years, before retiring. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Cabot. She enjoyed going to camp, playing cards and watching the Steelers.

Surviving are her son, Ronald (Debra) Sasse of Sarver; her daughter, Diane Mahan of Saxonburg; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Sasse; and four children, Deborah Sasse, Russell “Rusty” Sasse, Kimberly Sasse and Kathleen Kelley.

SASSE — Graveside services for Shirley A. Sasse, who died Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at the St. John Cemetery, Coylesville.
