The Cyphers in 1974

Stanley and Deborah Cypher, of Butler, celebrated 50 years of marriage on Oct. 5, 2024.

Cypher married the former Deborah Massart on Oct. 5, 1974, at First United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Tarah Chiappini of Butler and Todd Cypher of Erie.

The Cyphers also have three grandchildren.

Cypher is a retired millwright from Armco Steel.

Mrs. Cypher is a retired registered nurse from Butler Memorial Hospital.
