Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler Twp

Dec. 20 — Anthony J. Frank, 30, of New Castle, was charged with a summary count of retail theft after police said he didn’t pay for $149 in merchandise at Walmart.

May 23 — Michael Bastian, 27, of Butler, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop in the GetGo parking lot. Police said he was found with crystal methamphetamine in his possession.

Dec. 10 — Zachary Detrick, 21, of Butler, was charged with retail theft after police said he was involved in the theft of two TVs valued at $476 from Walmart.

Nov. 20 — Amy Lynn Molyneaux, 34, of Gibsonia, was charged with access device fraud after police said she was seen on video using a stolen credit card to buy four phone cards costing $215 at Walmart.

Dec. 26 — Deondra S. Bundy, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with retail theft after police said loss prevention staff at Target stopped her for shoplifting $166 in merchandise.

Nov. 27 — Jacob McCall, 27, of Butler, was charged with retail theft after police said he was seen leaving Walmart without paying for $568 in merchandise.

Dec. 11 — Sara N. McGregor, 25, of Butler, was charged with DUI, accident involving damage and three summary traffic violations after police said she rear-ended a minivan at the intersection of Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road and left the scene. She did not submit to a blood test for alcohol content.

Middlesex Twp

Dec. 15 — Joseph J. Tate, 49, of Butler, was charged with two counts of DUI and a summary traffic violation after police said he was pulled over for swerving in and out of the northbound lanes of Route 8. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.179%. In the state, a person with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more is legally considered too intoxicated to drive.

Dec. 16 — Michael M. Miles, 31, of Butler, was charged with theft of services after police said he failed to pay Route 8 Auto Services $277 for services rendered.

Dec. 13 — Joseph W. Byler, 35, of New Wilmington, was charged with bad checks after police said a $2,367 check he wrote to H.P. Starr Lumber was returned due to insufficient funds.

Dec. 6 — Kenneth Kosmal, 64, of Natrona Heights, was charged with two counts of DUI after police said his breath smelled like alcohol when he was pulled over for crossing traffic lane lines on Route 8. His blood alcohol content was 0.093%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% or greater is considered intoxicated.

Penn Twp

Nov. 29 — James P. Finnecy, 34, of Gardners, was charged with three counts of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief after police responded to a hit-and-run report and found his car abandoned with front end damage on Meridian Road. Police said he was found inside a vehicle parked at a home on the same street with a crack pipe in his pocket. Blood tests found cocaine in his system and a blood alcohol content of 0.286%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% or greater is considered intoxicated.

Saxonburg

Dec. 18 — Shawn M. Hails, 41, of Saxonburg, was charged with failure to provide accurate registration information after police said violated his Megan’s Law reporting requirements by not notifying state police that he quit his job at an auto repair shop within 72 hours of quitting.

Butler

Dec. 19 — David A. Cerminara, 60, and Kelly A. Cerminara, 55, both of Butler, were charged with retail theft after police said he stole a $100 tiger figurine and she stole a ring and earrings worth $42 from Mystique Moon Antiques and Artisans.

State police, Butler

July 8 — Daniel L. Wolfe, 39, of Butler, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary traffic violations after police found containers and smoking pipes containing THC resin and paraphernalia in a backpack left in a vehicle Wolfe fled after a traffic stop on Walker Drive in Center Township.

Dec. 1 — Mark D. Tennent, 64, of Butler, was charged with two counts of DUI, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock and six summary traffic violations after police said he was pulled over for speeding on Mercer Road in Center Township without his headlights on at 5:09 p.m., and showed signs of impairment. His blood alcohol content was 0.237%. A person with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more is legally considered too intoxicated to drive in Pennsylvania.

Dec. 20 — Antonio A. Nontgomery, 27, of Slippery Rock, was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly biting a woman’s hand during a domestic dispute in Brady Township, police said.

Dec. 20 — Richard A. Gray, 37, of West Sunbury, was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face during an altercation in Center Township, police said.

Dec. 10 — Brandon R. Ginther, 36, of New Brighton, was charged with unauthorized device access after police said he used his former employer’s gas card to buy $756 in snacks and drinks from January to November.

Oct. 11 — Andrew R. Douglas, 36, of East Butler was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly striking a 6-year-old boy in the lower back in East Butler, police said.

State police, Kittanning

Dec. 12 — Robert A. Hornbuckle II, 35, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he was found in possession of about 25 grams of suspected heroin and a bag of marijuana following a traffic stop in Butler Township.
