McCandless

Martha “Marti” McCandless, 66, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at Autumn Grove Care Center.

She was born April 13, 1958, in Butler, the daughter of the late Joseph O. Youngblood and Evelyn (Fink) Youngblood.

She had worked at Armco Steel and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 778.

Surviving are her son, Cooper (BJ Wickline) Youngblood, aka Wesley Miller of West Sunbury; two grandchildren; a sister, Hallie (Robert) Kemery of Burlison, Tenn.; two nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Michael McCandless; and a brother, Joseph Warren Youngblood.

MCCANDLESS — Services and burial for Martha “Marti” McCandless, who died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, will be private.
