State Sen. Vogel sworn in for fifth term
State Sen. Elder Vogel, R-47th, was sworn in on Tuesday, Jan. 7, to serve his fifth term in the state legislature, two months after his victory over Democratic challenger Kate Lennen in the November election.
Vogel says that he will spend his fifth term focusing on supporting Pennsylvania’s farmers. This includes support for legislation which would bring changes to Pennsylvania’s milk over-order premium distribution.
Vogel’s district covers Butler, Beaver and Lawrence counties. Vogel was first elected in 2008 and has been reelected four times since.
