AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will again offer its free, in-person income tax preparation service for low to moderate income taxpayers. Special attention will be given to those age 50 and older at four sites in Butler County.

All sites require an appointment in advance, which can be obtained only by dialing 211. Taxpayers should bring a photo ID along with their 2023 tax returns, if available, according to a news release from AARP.

Service is offered during the day from Feb. 4 until April 11. The service is available on Tuesdays at the Mars Area Public Library and at the Tanglewood Center in Butler; on Thursdays at Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler; and on Fridays at the Cranberry Public Library on Rochester Road.

Membership in AARP is not required to qualify for the tax preparation.
