Jeremy Womer at Haine Middle School was selected as Pennsylvania’s 2025 Outstanding Assistant Principal by the Pennsylvania Principals Association.

Womer received the honor after it was announced on Jan. 8. The Seneca Valley School District employee also was named the state winner for National Association of Elementary School Principals’ National Outstanding Assistant Principal Program. Womer is eligible to be considered for the honor of National Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year.

“Mr. Womer’s calm, approachable demeanor, dedication to students and remarkable ability to cultivate strong relationships have made him an invaluable asset to Seneca Valley,” Tracy Vitale, Seneca Valley superintendent of schools, said in a news release. “This well-deserved recognition is a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence, his leadership and his significant impact on our school community.”

Womer has worked at Haine Middle School as its assistant principal since 2023. He began his career as an administrator in West Virginia before joining Seneca Valley in 2017.

“A remarkable and talented educator has once again been chosen by our selection committee to represent assistant principals in Pennsylvania at the elementary/middle school level. Jeremy Womer is a perfect example of the traits we seek in an award recipient: dedication, professionalism, leadership and a love of learning for students, faculty, the school and the community,” Eric Eshbach, executive director, the principals association, said in the release.
