Kelly to repeat role as Ways and Means Tax Subcommittee chairman
Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, has announced that he will continue to serve as chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee Tax Subcommittee for the 119th Congress, the same role he served in the 118th Congress.
In a public statement, Kelly pledged to continue the work of President-elect Donald Trump’s first term in office.
“2025 will be the Super Bowl of Tax as we work to extend the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, which spurred the greatest economy the United States has seen in generations,” Kelly said in a news release. “There is a lot of work ahead, and I’m ready to work with President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and Chairman Smith to fulfill the mandate set forth by the American people.”
