Man charged with threatening Walmart employee with knife
Butler Township police charged a man after they say he threatened a Walmart employee with a knife.
Jayden Theodore Dano, 20, was charged with burglary, terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening an employee with a knife and harassing him for three days prior over a woman, according to the criminal complaint.
Dano and his brother confronted the employee in the parking lot of the Walmart in Butler Township on Friday, Jan. 10, while the employee was sitting in his car on lunch break, according to the complaint. Police said Dano approached the employee’s door with a white-handled kitchen knife and began banging on it while yelling at the employee to come out and fight him.
The employee then called 911, and the brothers ran to their vehicle and fled the scene.
Dano’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
