Every 1,000-point scorer in Butler County: Top boys, girls basketball players at each high school

Basketball is one of the most storied high school sports, dating back to the early 20th century in Butler County. A myriad of talented scorers have come and gone, filling the shoes of those graduated each season.

Of that total, however, there are only so many that have surpassed 1,000 points — and even fewer to get to 2,000. Slippery Rock’s Josh Book became the latest to join the former club Wednesday night.

Here are the Butler County area’s all-time 1,000-point scorers on the hardwood, as reported to the Butler Eagle. Information is provided by the schools.
