Joyce A. McDonald, 83, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, at Concordia of Fox Chapel.

Born May 5, 1941, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Sara Gallagher Deal.

Joyce was a homemaker and a former Realtor.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Butler.

She is survived by three sons, Brad McDonald and his wife, Laurie, of Butler, Timothy McDonald of Butler, and Jeff McDonald of Chicora; two sisters, Sally Hughes and her husband, Duane, of Butler, and Charlene Ekis and her husband, George, of Franklin; one sister-in-law, Patty Deal of Butler; one brother-in-law, George McDonald and his wife, Sharon, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul McDonald, who passed away July 2, 2020; and one brother, Charles Deal.

MCDONALD — There was no visitation, and services were private for Joyce A. McDonald, who died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025.

Burial took place in Butler County Memorial Park.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
