In December, Mark Gerson, owner of Mark S. Gerson Builder in Mars, presented the Butler County Humane Society in Renfrew with a check for $2,000 as part of the $1,000 grand prize winner’s package for the TRI-BUILT Top Dogs calendar program.

Gerson matched the prize money to increase the total donation to $2,000.

Each year, the calendar program offers TRI-BUILT Beacon customers the opportunity to have their dog’s photo featured in a print calendar and win $1,000 for their favorite rescue facility. A panel of judges selects the 12 winners. One of the 2024 winners was Finn, Gerson’s 6-year-old Australian Shepherd.
