Lyme disease Student Art Contest open for entries
Pennsylvania is offering students in grades 1 to 6 the chance to participate in the 2025 Lyme disease Student Art Contest by creating a video or poster centered on the theme “Protect. Check. Remove.”
The contest aims to raise awareness about tick prevention and Lyme disease, teaching children how to avoid tick bites, safely remove ticks and seek timely medical care.
Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 14. Finalists will be notified by mail and recognized in May at the state capitol.
Supported by multiple state agencies, the initiative encourages outdoor safety while fostering creativity and education. More details are available on the state Department of Health’s website.
