Pioneers basketball fans invited to tailgate party before tipoff
Butler County Community College will hold a tailgate party Tuesday, Jan. 28, before the college’s men’s basketball team hosts the Community College of Allegheny County.
The tailgate party begins at 5 p.m. on the second level of the Field House on BC3’s main campus in Butler Township and is free and open to the public. The event will include free pizza, cookies and drinks, and gifts featuring the Pioneer logo.
The Pioneers will play CCAC at 6 p.m. There is no admission charge.
Terrance Pankey, a 6-foot-2 guard from Youngstown, Ohio, leads BC3 (3-9) with a 20.6 points-per-game scoring average.
Josiah Gonzalez, a 6-3 guard also from Youngstown, leads CCAC (11-6) with a 20 points-per-game average.
