Richard Mehelich, 59, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025.

Born on Aug. 24, 1965, in Butler, Richard honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1987. He found joy in spending time with his friends and family, especially playing bingo and card games.

He is survived by his wife, Alejandra Mehelich of Butler; his three daughters, Jasmin Mehelich, along with her daughter, Olivia Webb, of Washington, Pa.; Tasha Burkert and her husband, Jeremiah, of Butler; and Arlene Paunovich and her husband, Dominic, of Bulger, Pa. Richard also is survived by his mother, Emma Jean Mehelich of Butler; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Dawn Mehelich of Belfair, Wash.; and his nieces, Mikayla and Brittany Mehelich of Belfair, Wash.

MEHELICH — In keeping with his wishes, no public visitation or burial services will be held for Richard Mehelich, who died Monday, Jan. 27, 2025. A private service will be conducted for immediate family only.

Services were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
