Harry L. Lutes, 79, of Grove City, passed away on Thursday morning, Jan. 30, 2025, following a period of declining health.

Harry was born in Grove City on Sept. 6, 1945, to Harold Leroy “Tuffy” and Elizabeth Jane (Phillips) Lutes.

He married Linda M. Johnston on June 6, 1970, and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2022.

He was a graduate of Grove City High School in 1964 and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Harry retired from Cooper Energy Services, Grove City, where he was a supervisor/foreman in the plant foundry for many years.

He enjoyed motorcycles, golf, hunting and fishing, but mostly spending time with his family.

Harry is survived by two children, Ryan (Tracy) Lutes of Grove City and Lindsay M. (Bryan) Galus of Zelienople; two grandchildren, Cory and Aria Galus; and a sister, Cheri M. Edinger of James City, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother, Kenneth E. Lutes.

LUTES — A memorial service for Harry L. Lutes, who died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Memorial donations in Harry’s memory may be made to the Grove City Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 292, Grove City, PA 16127.
