Linda D. Normand, 76, of South Maysville Road, West Salem Township, Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 29, 2025, at UPMC Mercy.

She was born Feb. 7, 1948, in Fredonia, Pa. to Willis and Henrietta (King) Uber. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Reynolds High School and a graduate of the McConnell Airline School in Minneapolis, Minn. She retired from Hill, Barth & King in Sharon where she had been employed for 14 years as an administrative assistant. Linda previously had been employed at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, L. L. Keck & Son and Northwest Airlines.

She attended Jamestown Presbyterian Church and had been a past member of Hillside Presbyterian Church, where she had served as an elder, trustee, Sunday school teacher, and co-leader of the evening women’s group. Linda was an associate member of the Mercer County School Retirees and was a co-curator of the Mercer County One-Room School Museum.

On Aug. 3, 1968, she married Ronald L. Ealy, he passed away June 29, 2015. Linda then married Joseph Normand on July 14, 2018, he survives in Slippery Rock.

Also surviving are a daughter, Ronda L. (Tom) Chaya of Akron, Ohio; a son, Jason M. (June) Ealy of Greenville; a sister, Donna Buckley of Mercer; a brother, Paul (Aleta) Brocklehurst of Hermitage; and four grandchildren, Jacob Chaya, Brenna Chaya, Juliana Ealy and James Ealy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; and three brothers.

NORMAND — Family and friends of Linda D. Normand, who died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at LOUTZENHISER-JORDAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Bates, interim pastor of Jamestown Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Inurnment will be in Millbank Cemetery, Fredonia.
