Potochny

Scott Potochny, 58, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025.

He was born in Butler Sept. 6, 1966, to Robert and Jeanne (Lackey) Potochny.

Scott graduated from Butler Senior High School, Class of 1985, and furthered his education at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Throughout his career, Scott worked in food service all over Western Pennsylvania as an expert chef and caterer. Scott loved to share his passion for food with everyone around him.

He was the father of Allison and Amy Potochny; brother of Eric (Diane) Potochny and Louise Leonard; and grandfather of Paisley, Jayden, Amelia and Indiana. Scott was forever loved by Terri Hollobaugh and Julie Graham; and his dog, Charlie.

Scott was preceded in death by his previous wife, Laura Graham.

POTOCHNY — All services for Scott Potochny, who died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
