The state Department of Transportation is reminding residents to exercise caution and use designated drivers on Super Bowl Sunday to get home safely if necessary.

Those who have had any alcohol to drink — even just one drink — should not get behind the wheel under any circumstances, and should either call upon a sober friend, a taxi or ride-sharing to get them home.

PennDOT also advises those hosting parties on Super Bowl Sunday, or at any time, to offer plenty of nonalcoholic drinking options.
