State police investigating human remains found in vehicle
State police responded to a vehicle fire just before 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, in Evans City, where they found human remains in the vehicle they responded to.
Police said they are actively investigating the remains, but they don’t suspect foul play at this time.
The vehicle fire was reported at 4:57 p.m. Friday at 600 South Washington Street in Evans City. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit, Butler County Coroner’s Office and Evans City Fire Department also responded to the scene.
