Jeffrey L. Coffin, 74, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.

Jeff graduated from Butler High School in 1970 and then attended University of Cincinnati. He owned his own publishing company in Cranberry for 30 years. Jeff was Christian by faith. He was known as an animal lover, especially cats, and cherished his service dog, Ginger.

He enjoyed snow skiing and was keen to be healthy by living healthy. Also, Jeff was a luxury sedan enthusiast. Later in life, he enjoyed being near the ocean in Florida, where he lived for about 15 years.

Jeff is survived by a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin D. Phillips and Lauretta M. Phillips; and a sister, Gayle Coffin, who passed away in 1972.

COFFIN — Inurnment for Jeffrey L. Coffin, who died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, will take place at North Side Cemetery.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held privately per family wishes.

Arrangements were entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
