Shakira resumes world tour with concert in Lima after canceling show due to illness

Shakira

LIMA, Peru — Colombian superstar Shakira said Monday that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, on Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.

The four-time Grammy winner shared the news on her Instagram account, saying that her concert at Lima’s Estadio Nacional soccer stadium will begin at 8:15 p.m. local time.

Shakira, 48, arrived in Peru on Friday evening, and was scheduled to perform on Sunday and Monday. However, she canceled the first of her two shows on Sunday, informing fans on X that she had been hospitalized due to an abdominal condition.

The singer kicked off her world tour last week with concerts in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil. After her performance in Peru, Shakira’s tour will continue with scheduled dates in Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Argentina and more than a dozen U.S. cities, including Orlando, Houston, Detroit, Boston, New York and San Francisco.

Shakira wrote on X that her team is working on a new date for the show that was canceled on Sunday.

Corey Feldman

Corey Feldman says his drummer Duke Gadd died of fentanyl OD

NEW YORK — One of Corey Feldman’s drummers, Duke Gadd, has reportedly died of a reported fentanyl overdose.

The 53-year-old “Corey’s Angels” frontman and former child star announced “with tremendous sadness” that Gadd died Wednesday in Las Vegas due to a fentanyl overdose, according to his Instagram tribute. Gadd played on the “Goonies” star’s 2023 “Love ReTours 23” tour.

“Our friend & drummer @melomaniac_graffiti aka #DukeGadd passed away in Vegas yesterday from a fentanyl overdose!” Feldman’s all-caps caption read on a carousel of photos and clips of Gadd performing.

The “Stand By Me” and “The Lost Boys” alum remembered Gadd as “beyond talented” and said he “was poisoned by his own struggles in life!

“What a tremendous loss of a talented young man gone far 2 soon! My heart hurts losing another friend 2 the throws of drug addiction & the insane fentanyl crisis that's taken over our country! My condolences 2 all his friends & family!” said Feldman, who has himself struggled with substance abuse.

According to TMZ, Feldman identified Gadd as son of famed percussionist Steve Gadd, who has reportedly worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Paul McCartney, James Taylor and many more.

Though he’s no longer part of mainstream Hollywood, Feldman — a staunch critic of child stardom — reunited with his “Goonies” costars earlier this month to celebrate Ke Huy Quan’s new movie, “Love Hurts.”

Feldman told Variety at the time that he and fellow co-star Sean Astin had tried their hand at developing a sequel to the 1985 adventure film and had “a really great idea.” Richard Donner, who directed the adventure classic, ultimately deemed it “too expensive.” But Feldman still hopes a second chapter will come together.

“All I can say is, get us all together now,” he told Variety. “We’re all looking good still, and we’re all alive. Goonies never say die … There’s hope.”

Kanye West

Kanye West, Bianca Censori have no prenup amid conflicting divorce reports

Sources say Kanye West and Bianca Censori have no prenup amid conflicting reports the controversial couple is on the precipice of divorce.

Insiders with direct knowledge told TMZ the embattled rapper, 47, and Yeezy architectural designer, 30, did not sign such an agreement before tying the knot in late 2022 — weeks after he finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

One such source told the outlet that both parties contacted divorce lawyers this week, while another insider said a rep for West — who now legally goes by Ye — first reached out to an attorney last fall. That unnamed lawyer reportedly passed on representing the “Heartless” rapper.

The couple have been a fixture in headlines since earlier this month, when Censori appeared at the Grammy Awards in a fully sheer dress that essentially left her nude.

Days later, Ye launched an antisemitic tirade on X, dubbing himself a Nazi, praising Adolf Hitler and proclaiming “dominion” over his wife.

He followed that by dropping millions of dollars on a bizarre Super Bowl commercial in which he directed viewers to his Yeezy site, which turned out to be selling white T-shirts emblazoned with black swastikas. The Shopify store was shut down, but not before selling a reported 100,000 products.

On Thursday, TMZ reported that Ye and Censori — whose relationship was described as “definitely rocky” since at least October — had each reached out to divorce attorneys.

Within hours, a rep for the couple denied the “unsourced rumor” about the pending divorce, saying they were “about to enjoy Valentine’s Day together.”

“Announcements about their private life will come from them directly,” said talent firm Tarantula.

If and when Ye and Censori do legally split, it’s unclear how their assets could be divided. Forbes currently estimates West’s net worth to be $400 million — a figure that’s in stark contrast to the$2.77 billion he claimed to be worth last month.

West has reportedly lost a significant amount of money since marrying Censori, thanks to numerous brands cutting ties with the rapper due to this antisemitic outbursts.

Adidas ended his multiyear sneaker deal in late 2022, costing him an estimated $1.5 billion.

The sportswear company reached an out-of-court settlement with West last October, with CEO Bjørn Gulden saying neither party walked away with any money.
