Thomas Rapsinski
Thomas “Rap” Rapsinski, 73, of Sarver, passed away at home Friday, Feb. 14, 2025.
Born April 1, 1951, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Julia (Klabnik) Rapsinski. A 1969 graduate of Highlands High School and a 1973 graduate of Clarion State College, he was employed by Allegheny Ludlum (ATI) retiring in 2007 after 30 years of service.
A member of the Knights of Columbus and the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Phyllis (Pajewski); daughters, Rosalyn Rapsinski, Amy (Darren) Vtipil and Dr. Kristin Rapsinski; granddaughter, Carmella Vtipil; brothers, Richard (Joyce) Rapsinski, George Jr. (Kimberly) Rapsinski and Robert Rapsinski; sisters, Marie Singerman and Julie (Keith) McEwen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
RAPSINSKI — Visitation for Thomas “Rap” Rapsinski, who died Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, at DUSTER FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum.
Christian funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot.
Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Fund at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
