Kid’s Innovation Playground, 204 Spruce Drive, Slippery Rock, is offering a free drone coding workshop for girls in fifth to eighth grades.

The workshop takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Slippery Rock location.

Girls will learn basic block coding and program a small drone to fly, hover and land. Girls also will be given an opportunity to be a part of a Girls Coding Drones Club, if interested in advancing their skills.
