Man taken to hospital after crash in Chicora Jan. 31
A Butler man was injured in a crash the night of Jan. 31 on South Main Street in Chicora.
According to state police, Stanley Lopinski, 93, of Butler, was transported by Karns City Regional Ambulance Service to Butler Memorial Hospital at around 10:47 p.m. Jan. 31, after his vehicle rear-ended a vehicle in front of him.
State police said the vehicle that Lopinski rear-ended, driven by Jessica Watterson, 32, of Chicora, was pushed into a residence on the right side of the road, where it came to a rest.
Police said Lopinski suffered suspected minor injuries, and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Watterson was not injured, police said, but both vehicles were towed from the scene.
