SRU holding science security discussion
Slippery Rock University is holding a moderated discussion on “Securing the Sciences” on Thursday, Feb. 20.
The discussion will include industry experts who will talk about security within the fields of science, according to SRU. Topics will include “current and common threats to science-focused businesses and the vulnerabilities, sensitivities and asset protection measures to protect these companies.”
A goal of the event is to inform SRU students of industry trends for those who are majoring in relevant programs.
The discussion will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Advanced Technology and Science Hall, Room 142. The event is free and open to the public.
