Butler school district announces middle school open house details
The Butler Area School District recently released information on the Feb. 27 open house for the former Butler Middle School.
The open house will be open from 6 to 7:15 p.m. for members of the community and requires no prior reservation to attend. The event will end at 7:30 p.m.
While superintendent Brian White announced he will be at the school, the tour will be self-guided and allow access to the first two floors only.
White said at the Feb. 10 school board meeting that he would attend to “encourage last minute offers to buy the building.”
Restrooms will not be available in the middle school.
The open house is expected to be the penultimate act of the sale before the public hearing at 11 a.m. March 6. A judge at the Butler County Court of Common Pleas hearing will choose the most beneficial offer for the district and community.
