Kenneth McGallis, 70, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025.

He was born in Grove City on Aug. 17, 1954, to the late Joseph and Anna (Sokol) McGallis.

Kenneth attended Scotland School for Veterans’ Children and was employed as a laborer for Mercer Lime and Stone. He enjoyed being outdoors, mostly fishing and hunting.

He was the father of Crystal (Ryan) Hartzell; brother of George “Bernie,” Ronald (Carmen) and James (Brenda) McGallis, and Barbra Asher; and grandfather of Ethan Kummer and Tristan, Haley and Raven Hartzell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe and Donald McGallis; and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth McGallis.
