Rose Callahan, 90, of Prospect, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025.

She was born in Butler on April 23, 1934, to the late Stanley and Mildred (Lisowski) Weichey.

Rose was employed at Butler Auto Auction for 26 years. She was a member of St. Christopher Church in Prospect.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late T.W. Callahan since their marriage on Nov. 19, 1955; mother of Joanne (Dennis) DeCola, Jim, Judy (Bob McFeaters) and Tom Callahan Jr.; sister of Carl Weichey; grandmother of Marissa (Cameron) Huddleston, Mark (Jessica) DeCola and Trevor and Fontaine McFeaters.

Along with her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by nine brothers and three sisters.

The family would love to acknowledge Good Samaritan Hospice and UPMC Passavant-Cranberry Hospital for their excellent care.

CALLAHAN — All services for Rose Callahan, who died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
