Carole and Nicholas Toubakaris

Nicholas and Carole Toubakaris, of Butler Township, will celebrate 55 years of marriage on Feb. 28, 2025. They will celebrate with a family dinner in July in Butler.

Toubakaris married the former Carole Throm on Feb. 28, 1970, at St. Luke Church in Athens, Greece.

They have three children, Jennifer of Coatsville, Pa., Michael of Ada of Oklahoma and Christina of Windermere, Florida.

The couple also have five grandchildren.

Toubakaris a is retired co-owner of a transportation company.

Mrs. Toubakaris is retired from the faculty at Penn State University Extension.

The Toubakarises are members of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in New Castle.
