Seneca Valley track and field offering elementary school spring program beginning in April

Seneca Valley is offering an elementary track and field program from April to May.

The program is open to all Seneca Valley School District students in grades 3-6. Students can attend one or more of the dates at the high school’s NexTier Stadium and should expect to participate in running events with athletic clothing.

Cost is $75 per student, school district financial waivers will be honored. According to the team and head coach Ray Peaco, the Raiders hope to have 10-20 girls and 10-20 boys for the spring program to take place.

The program will be held April 7, 10, 16, 21 and 30, and May 5 and 10. A community track and field meet will be held May 16 for all students who participated in the program.
