The Valencia Presbyterian Church deacons are holding a chili cook-off Tuesday, March 4, in the church’s fellowship hall.

The cook-off begins at 6:30 p.m., and members are asked to bring their best batch of chili for community members to taste. Attendees will vote for their favorite recipe. There also will be a coloring contest for children at the cook-off.

Ash Wednesday service will follow on March 5, with a service at 7 p.m. Communion will be served, as well as the Imposition of Ashes.
