Timothy Giger

Giger

Timothy A. Giger, 67, of Valencia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, while returning from completing one of his favorite chores — feeding his cows. Anyone who knew him knew he loved animals, nature and helping others.

Tim was a graduate of Hampton High School and owned and operated both T.A. Giger Wildlife Pest Control and T.A. Giger Deer Processing. He was an active member of the community and had a wide variety of interests. With his heart of service, he helped with the inception of the Mars Youth Wrestling Program, picked up trash with the local Grange, held morning council at Valencia Donut and taught many hunter trapper education courses.

Tim was preceded in death by his son, Jory. He is survived by his parents, Ed and Joan of Allison Park; and his six siblings. In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his girlfriend, Kathy Kier of Saxonburg; the mother of his children, Lynne Giger of McKean, Pa.; and his three remaining children, Chandra Yeschenko (Brian) of Roanoke, Texas, Logan Giger (Tricia) of Fairfax, Va., and Kaylee Barton (Will) of Julian, Pa. Tim also leaves behind seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a loving community of friends.
