Andrew Skunda Jr., 77, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025.

He was born in Butler on Sept. 17, 1947, to the late Andrew Sr. and Tosca (Pelligrini) Skunda.

Andrew graduated from Butler High School, and he was employed at PennDOT for over 35 years until his retirement, and he also worked for Butler Area School District.

He was a member of the Slovak Club and loved to play bingo and the lottery. Andrew was known for being hardworking, was loved by all who knew him, and most of all was an excellent husband, dad and friend. His family will always love and miss him.

Andrew was the beloved husband of Diana (Reges) Skunda, since their marriage in 1968; father of Andy (Irene) Skunda III and Mike (Linda) Skunda; and brother of Donald (Amy) Skunda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and his puppy, Daisy Mae.

Along with his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy McNany and Barbara Foringer; and his beloved dogs, Mimi, Katie and Gus.

SKUNDA — Family and friends of Andrew Skunda Jr., who died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately at Butler County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
