With a 53-48 win over fourth-seeded Elizabeth Forward at home Wednesday night, No. 3 North Catholic earned third-place in WPIAL Class 4A. The Trojanettes trailed by two at halftime, but powered ahead during the third frame.
Lauren Reitz (17 points and 10 rebounds) and Sarah Loughry (15 points and 10 assists) both had double-doubles in the girls basketball win.
