Ongoing federal layoffs that could potentially effect employees at Butler VA Medical Center off Route 356, brought more than 100 protesters to the site on a snowy Saturday afternoon.

The planned protest started around noon and by 12:45 p.m. the crowd reached around 130 people chanting in support of the VA and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and against President Donald Trump, Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency.

Protesters held up signs that were critical of the administration's moves and supportive of the VA and veterans.

The protest was organized by the Butler County Democratic Committee and VA retiree Debra Barger.
