Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 24 — Joshua D. Zimmerman, 24, of Huntingdon, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following a Feb. 11 crash in Center Township. Police said Zimmerman had a blood alcohol level of 0.152%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 25 — Michael J. Lunn, 46, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence following a Jan. 31 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Lunn had a blood alcohol level of 0.228%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 25 — Alexander M. Kocko Jr., 31, of Lyndora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Jan. 27 crash in Evans City. Police said Kocko had suspected marijuana, a smoking pipe and a grinder.
Feb. 25 — Lisa Marie Thompson, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Feb. 23 incident in Franklin Township. Police said Thompson pushed a woman who fell and hit her head and elbow.
Feb. 25 — Kurt Nealon Weaver, 58, of Butler, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence following a Feb. 23 traffic stop in Center Township. Police said Weaver had a blood alcohol level of 0.136%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 25 — Mark Anthony Gowie, 59, of Monaca, was charged with misdemeanor harassment related to incidents between Jan. 9 and Feb. 7. Police said Gowie repeatedly sent unsolicited texts to a 15-year-old girl.
12:47 p.m. Feb. 24 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 8 near West Central Equipment. Police said Janet Carbone, 71, of Portersville, was hit by Brock Elliott, 48, of Butler, when she made a left turn onto Route 8. Carbone was transported via Butler Ambulance Service to Allegheny General Hospital in Wexford for minor injuries. Butler Township Volunteer Fire District and Marshall Offstein Towing also responded.
Feb. 26 — Heather Joy McClemens, 34, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 22 traffic stop. Police said McClemens had a crack pipe in her jacket pocket.
Feb. 26 — Theodore Francis Snyder, 55, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Dec. 3 incident. Police said Snyder pepper sprayed a woman in a Dollar Tree.
Feb. 24 — Jill Anne Serold, 52, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to a Feb. 24 incident. Police said Serold repeatedly punched a man.
