Clarence ‘Junior’ Suchonic Jr.
Clarence P. “Junior” Suchonic Jr., 83, of Butler, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025.
He was born March 24, 1941, in Butler, a son of the late Clarence P. Suchonic Sr. and Lucy (DeRita) Suchonic.
Junior was retired from Mikan Motors, where he worked as parts manager for 25 years. He loved bowling, camping and shining his precious cars. He was a member of American Legion No. 117, the French and Belgium Club, The Italian Club and East Butler Fire Hall.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Lisa) Suchonic, Steve Suchonic and Gage (Tina) Suchonic; five grandchildren, Kristi, Brea, Dakota, Maylynn and Taya; four great-grandchildren, Keira, Eric, Weston and Walker; one brother, Ronald (Sandy) Suchonic; three sisters, Theresa Snyder, Carol Wood and Susan (Tim) Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iona (McHarque) Suchonic, whom he married May 3, 1986, and who passed away April 23, 2013; also an infant sister, Sandra Lee.
SUCHONIC — Friends of Clarence P. “Junior” Suchonic Jr., who died Sunday, March 2, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Calvary Cemetery in Butler. Everyone is asked to please meet there.
