Booher

Eleanore J. Booher, 93, of Buffalo Township, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2025.

Eleanore was born in West Deer Township, Dec. 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Emma (Grantz) Wagner and Lorcy Wagner. She was the widow of Earl Booher, who passed away in 1987.

She was a clerk and cashier for several retail businesses in the area. She retired as a library aide from the Saxonburg Library. She enjoyed reading, gardening, taking bus trips, playing cards with friends and walking the Butler-Freeport Trail.

Eleanore is survived by her daughter, Peggy Booher, of Buffalo Township; her cat, Georgie Girl; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Allen, Irvin and Don Wagner; and her sister, Florence Shearer.

BOOHER — There will be no public visitation for Eleanore J. Booher, who died Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. A private family burial service will be held in Freeport Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freeport Library, 428 Market St., Freeport, PA 16229, or Orphans of the Storm, 11878 Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
