A full moon hike’s delight
Join a Moraine State Park naturalist for a night hike as the full moon rises on Thursday, March 13.
Hikers can learn about the names associated with the March full moon and how they came to be while a naturalist leads the hike along 2.5 miles of moderately flat trail, catching a glimpse of the Lake Arthur dam and spillway on the route.
The hike begins at 7 p.m. at McDanels Launch Area on the North Shore. Hikers can meet beside Pavilion 7 to begin the trek. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water and dress for the weather, a news release from Moraine State Park said.
