At least one medical helicopter and multiple fire departments were called Saturday morning, March 8, to respond to a mobile home fire along East Old Route 422 in Clearfield Township.

The initial call to dispatch indicated a 2-year-old boy was believed to be inside the house at 2608 E Old Rt 422. The fire was reported just before 8 a.m.

The fire was quickly upgraded to second alarm once crews arrived at the scene.

The fire appears to be at a mobile home within the Saw Mill Estates community.

At one point, two medical helicopters were called to standby.
