Huselton

Frances E. “DeDe” Huselton, 91, of Butler, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, with her loving husband by her side.

She was born Oct. 12, 1933, and was a daughter to the late Victor W. Sellers Sr. and Lucille K. (Morello) Sellers.

DeDe graduated from Butler High School in 1951 and worked in retail sales for many years. DeDe was known for having a green thumb and loved flowers. She loved her family and friends dearly, and she enjoyed hosting picnics and providing wonderful home-cooked meals. DeDe and her husband, Ralph, were frequent travelers, and one of their most memorable trips included Sedona, Ariz. Dede and Ralph were longtime residents of Meridian.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ralph E. Huselton Jr.; daughter, Lori J. (Annette Brust) Huselton; son, Randy L. (Kathleen) Huselton; grandchildren, Graham D. (Jessica) Huselton and Brayden A. Huselton; brother, Robert (Rosemary) Sellers; sister, Patricia (William) Kemper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David E. Huselton; and a brother, Victor Sellers Jr.

HUSELTON — Family and friends of Frances E. “DeDe” Huselton, who died Friday, March 7, 2025, will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bob Edmundson officiating at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A private burial will be held at Greenlawn Burial Estate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McGuire Memorial, 2119 Mercer Road, New Brighton, PA 15066, in honor of DeDe’s son, David.
