Seneca Valley graduate Justin Jennings, now the men’s basketball head coach at Edinboro University, was named PSAC West Coach of the Year last week.

In his second season of coaching the Fighting Scots, Jennings led the team to a 15-13 overall record and 11-9 mark in PSAC West play. After being picked to finish eighth in the preseason poll, Edinboro finished in third in the West Division and advanced to the PSAC tournament for the first time in seven years.

The 15 wins this year were also the most for the Scots since the 2017-18 season.

Jennings graduated from Seneca Valley in 2002 before a decorated playing career at Penn State-Behrend.
