Hansen Avenue-Whitestown Road work begins next week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the Hansen Avenue-Whitestown Road intersection reconstruction project in Butler Township will begin Tuesday, March 17.
A lane restriction will be in place on Hansen Avenue southbound between Woodrow Street and Whitestown Road. Traffic will be shifted, but two-way traffic will be maintained.
Frank J. Zottola Construction, of Butler, is the contractor for the $3.3 million project, which includes intersection reconstruction, realignment and a new traffic signal. The project is estimated to be completed by the end of June.
